  • YES! Chemical peels are formulated to penetrate to different levels of the skin that also differ in intensity. We offer a variety of peels and we can confidently select one that fits your concerns and skin type.

  • You can expect redness for the first 24-48 hours post treatment. You’ll want to use gentle and hydrating products, especially sunscreen for the first 3-5 days post treatment. The overall downtime is approximately 7 days. Remember to not pick at skin that is peeling or flaking off to avoid any unwanted pigmentation or scarring.

  • Chemical peels work to remove the top layer of the epidermis by breaking down weak chemical bonds that hold together epidermal cells. Peels are a form of chemical exfoilation using Alpha Hydroxy Acids or Beta Hydroxy Acids to slough off dead skin cells. Chemical peels can help to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve hyperpigmentation, dullness, scarring, and laxity of the skin.
