  • Brain Fog

  • Inability to Maintain Muscle Mass

  • Low Blood Pressure

The reproductive symptoms of hormonal imbalance in men can include:

  • Low Self-Esteem

Patients have reported that one of the most effective treatments for relief of their hormone imbalance symptoms is through bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, or BHRT. At SLC Med Spa we use pellets, which can be inserted in only a few minutes during an office visit.  We begin with a hormone baseline test to prescribe hormone replacement therapy to bring your hormones to their optimum targeted levels.

Pellets are placed beneath the skin, typically in the buttocks, to provide a reservoir of steady hormone release for you. Implanting the grain-of-rice-sized pellets takes about five minutes, then we monitor hormone levels with periodic follow-up visits and re-testing to assess the effectiveness of the therapy and adjust as necessary. Generally pellets should be repeated every four to six months.

Within two to four weeks after pellet insertion, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) may begin to relieve symptoms of hormonal imbalance in men, and patients are back to their regular activities.
